- To confirm as a correct record the Minutes of the Council Meeting held on the 10 July and the 24 July 2017 (enc).

- To confirm for approval and adoption the Minutes of the under-mentioned Committees:

  • Planning Environmental and General Purposes Committee held on 17July and 7 August (enc)
  • Properties, Administration and Finance Committee held on 17 July 2017 (enc).
  • Personnel Committee held on 18 July 2017 (enc).
  1. CIVIC REGALIA CONSORTS CHAIN AND SECURITY

- To note that the insurance company have approved the replacement of the consort’s chain and to consider and approve the artwork for the replacement (to be circulated at the meeting).

- To consider arrangements for the future security of the Mayors and Consorts regalia.

  1. LOCAL DEMOCRACY WEEK

- To consider an enquiry from Kirklees Council as to whether the Town Council would be interested in offering any local activity as part of the programme (enc)

  1. FOUL WATER ON FOOTBALL PITCH

- To receive an update regarding the problems with foul water on the football pitch at Robert Ashton Memorial Park and the steps taken to resolve the matter.

  1. TRUSTEES FOR THE POORS ALLOTMENT BANK ACCOUNT

- To consider changing the trustees for the Poors Allotment bank account.

  1. BUDGET REPORT

- To consider a report on the 2017/18 budget (enc).

  1. CORRESPONDENCE TO CONSIDER / NOTE

- To consider correspondence regarding the establishment ofa Mountain Bike Skills Park in Meltham (enc).

- To consider correspondence regarding a footpath at Green Lane, Meltham (enc).

- To consider correspondence regarding Christmas Lights (enc).

  1. EXCLUSION OF PUBLIC AND PRESS:

Pursuant to section 1 (2) of the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960 it is resolved that, because of the confidential nature of the business to be transacted, the public and the press leave the meeting during consideration of the following: -
