Additional Points to Remember

 In order to be considered for a spring 2017 Internship, the LEJA Internship Coordinator must have received the typedcompleted internship forms V, VI, VII, & VIII prior toFriday, November 18, 2016. The internship forms can be downloaded from the LEJA web site, (current students...).

 In order to be eligible for a spring 2017 internship you must currently possess a minimum (as of 8/23/15) GPA of 2.25 overall and 2.50 in your LEJA major. You are required to use your WIU e-mail address during your internship experience.

It is your responsibility to register for LEJA 490 and 491 (or 499 Honors). Anyone not registered for spring 2017 Internship by January 16, 2017,will be unable to complete their internship during the spring 2017 semester.

 Be advised, the deadline for applying for a spring 2017 Illinois State Police Internship is September 30, 2016. All required paperwork must be received in Springfield by that date (the LEJA Internship Coordinator needs the paperwork by September 11, 2016). The ISP internship application can be found on the ISP web site:

 Do not forget about your insurance information, Housing Contract (Seal Hall) - return of deposit, and clear-up all university affairs (aid, bills, graduation, advising). Also check out WIU Career Services for assistance with resumes, cover letters, interviews, etc., Always keep the LEJA Internship Coordinator informed (turn in your paperwork).Do well in your classes, and take part in the LEJA organizations (meetings, presentations). Stay out of trouble. Enjoy this semester on campus . . . be happy!
