Work schedules and duties vary per facilityfor these non-exempt positions and employees are paid hourly wages. HDQ Chichester Center Reports to Jim Pond/Dave Adkins: Livestock Technician duties include, but are not limited to, providing completecare of bulls and animals to include reporting health and condition,assisting with feeding and stall management, assisting with themanagement of silos and related equipment, cleaning hay and feed storagebarns, and preparing and handling mount animals and bulls for eveningcollection in Headquarter herds. The work schedule is 1:00 pm to 9:30 pmon rotating days that include working some weekends.

HDQ Chichester Center Reports to Gregg Marsh: Livestock Technicianduties include, but are not limited to, bull handling for semencollection, stall cleaning, feeding, any and all related barn chores, andother tasks as assigned. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00am to 2:30 pm.
HDQ Chichester Center Reports to Dave Brake/Andy Snyder: ProcessingTechnician duties include, but are not limited to, printing packagesusing jet print system and filling, sealing, racking, freezing, andstoring straws. The work schedule is Monday thru Friday, 10:30 am to7:00 pm.
HDQ Chichester Center Reports to Gary Elliott/Joe Fraley: ShippingTechnician duties include, but are not limited to, packing semen orders,caning semen, filling storage tanks with liquid nitrogen, lifting andtransporting 75-80 pound tanks (two-person assist), and other tasks asassigned. Applicant must be able to stand for long periods, lean andreach into tanks, and twist and turn from tank to tank. The workschedule is Monday thru Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, subject to change tomeet departmental needs. Occasional overtime and/or weekend work may berequired.
Kellgren and Hecker Centers - Reports to Joel Boysel/Lance Ridge:Livestock Technician duties include, but are not limited to, bullhandling for semen collection, stall cleaning, feeding, any and allrelated barn chores, and other tasks as assigned. The work schedule isbased on ten (10) hour days and four (4) days per week, rotationalscheduling requires some weekend work. The hours are 6:00 am to 4:30pm. Overtime opportunities are available.
Wells Road Reports to Elmer Watkins/Carrie McFarland: Livestock Technician duties include, but are not limited to, bull handling forsemen collection, stall cleaning, feeding, any and all related barnchores, and other tasks as assigned. The work schedule is Monday throughFriday, 6:15 am to 2:45 pm. Mandated weekend work is required (Saturdayand Sunday schedule is 10:00 am to 2:00 pm).
