Ministry:

Fall Work Weekend - October 21-23:A small but hardy crew gathered at Vanderkamp. Three buildings that won’t be in use when the snow flies were winterized. In the Fireplace Room and Commons restrooms, walls and windows were washed, rug shampooed and furniture polished. There was a lot of chatter about how much fun it is to clean at kamp as compared to cleaning at home. We shared in delicious meals, a combination of dish to pass and some prepared by kamp and those who stayed the night, Wii bowled in the evening! A great time was had by all and a lot was accomplished! Spring Work Weekend isApril 21st – 23rd, 2017

Fall Youth Retreat - October 28–30:For twenty some youth, fall festivities and Halloween fun were packed into one exciting weekend as Vanderkamp Center was bustling with kampers and staff enjoying all manner of activities. The retreat included scavenger hunts, character quests, kamp singalongs, and worship. Kampers were eager to don their costumes to trick-or-treat, carve pumpkins, make caramel popcorn balls, decorate cupcakes, and go for a nighttime hayride. The costume dance party was the highlight of the night! With the New Year’s Eve Retreat, just around the corner, all are anticipating seeing their friends again soon.
