Supreme Court Rule 1.3 states that "A lawyer shall act with reasonable diligence and promptness in representing a client."

RULE 1.3 Succession Plan

Topreventneglectofclientmattersandinrecognitionofalawyer'sfundamentalduty toprotectaclient'sinterest,thefollowingplanfortheunexpectedisadopted:

A.Ihavedesignatedanotherattorneytomanageorclosemypracticeintheeventofmydeath,temporaryorpermanentdisability,orimpairmentorincapacity.Thatattorneyis ______.

B.Ihavealifeinsurancepolicywhichwillprovide cashfor theexpenseofoperatingmyofficeuntilthepracticeissoldorclosed. It ispolicy #______with ______and has a face value of $______.
