The Book Fair is this week! Volunteers are still needed; if you can help, contact Mrs. Terlinden, or 812-273-3957 ext. 224. There are a few phone apps that can be used to check the reading level and points:iPhone users can get Points Scan Free and Android users can try Scholastic Book Fairs.

Tomorrow, Tuesday, October 31, Pope John has a 2:15pm early dismissal day for faculty development. Extended Care is available.

Our Veterans’ Day celebration will be Friday, November 10, 9am in the Shawe Meny Gym. We invite all of you to attend. Veterans and active military members are all invited to this special event. There will be a reception for all veterans in the Shawe student lounge. Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to wear red, white and blue.

Students interested in signing up for archery must sign up by Tuesday, October 31. Contact Rachael Shaw if your child is interested, 812 592-4729.

Breakfast is served daily in the cafeteria from 7:30-8am for $1.60.

Breakfast consists of a granola bar, muffin or cereal, fruit or fruit juice and milk.

Tuesday –beef stroganoff over noodles, peas, salad, fruit & milk

Wednesday – taco salad, nacho chips, lettuce, cheese, refried beans, Spanish rice, fruit & milk

Thursday – chicken sandwich, baked beans, fries, salad, fruit & milk

Friday – Bosco sticks, carrots, salad, fruit & milk

Monday – Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes, salad, rolls, fruit & milk
