POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
POSITION: / Enrollment Counselor (2 Positions)Job Duties: / Assists with orientation activities, convocation, and graduation; Assists prospective students with the admission and readmission process to include advisement of specific career paths; Counsels students regarding transfers of credit and advanced standing; Assists students with enrollment process, including but not limited to admission, registration, withdrawal, enrolment verification, transcript requests, and graduation; Responds to requests and needs of visitors and students; Communicates with students approaching graduation; Keeps abreast of admissions regulations, policies and procedures; Provides information by telephone, written correspondence and in person to interested parties regarding applicant procedures and admissions requirements; Works closely with others to solve problems or answer questions about the student information system and student records; Creates and maintains degree audits by working with department chairs and individual faculty to determine degree requirements; Prepares statistics related to degrees awarded; Creates concise, clear reports related to student issues; Provides student information system training to personnel; Creates and modifies administrative and staff student information accounts;
MINIMUM
QUALIFICATIONS: / Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited college or university *and* Two (2) years of experience in providing services to directly related to the duties specified in the job duties.
Note: Experience may substitute for the degree on a year-for-year basis.Work experience using Banner information systems required.

SALARY: / Targeted salary is commensurate with education and experience, not to exceed the budgeted amount of $30,000 per year.
