New Lindbergh Drop Off Information2012-2013
Arrival Information:
Children should not arrive to school prior to 9:00 a.m. A bell will ring at 9:00 a.m. to alert children that they may begin to walk to their classroom. All children should be in their classroom by 9:10 a.m. Teachers will begin taking attendance and begin instruction at that time. Children who arrive after 9:10 a.m. will need to sign in at the Main Office before going to class.
Arrival Summary:
8:50 a.m.Breakfast Program
9:00 a.m.First Bell (Walkers can enter building and busses arrive)
9:10 a.m. Second Bell (Attendance & Instruction Begins)
After 9:10 a.m.Parents need to sign students in at the main office. Student is marked late after 9:10 a.m.
When dropping off your child in the morning, either:
- Drop off your child on the side of the school (X) on Crosby Avenue. (Option 1)
- Drive into the parking lot and drop your child off at the cafeteria door (X). Then proceed around the boiler room building and out through the parking lot. This will apply only to morning drop offs only. (Option 2)
- If you are facing eastbound on Crosby Avenue toward Irving Terrace, please make your child walk to the crossing guard at Crosby Avenue and Irving Terrace to cross the street.
Safety is paramount and more of our students will be walking and we must encourage walkers to cross where there are crossing guards (Crosby Ave. & Irving and Irving Terrace & Worth).

New Lindbergh Dismissal Information 2012-2013
Dismissal Information:
3:20 p.m.All walkers will be dismissed. K & 1 students will be escorted to the door by staff.
3:23 p.m. All bus students will be dismissed to their bus lines.
3:30 pmEstimated time that all busses will leave Lindbergh Elementary.
When picking up your child at dismissal,
- Kindergarten students will be dismissed out door #1.First grade students will dismissed out door #2.
- Pick up your child on the side of the school (X) on Crosby Avenue.
- If you are facing eastbound on Crosby Avenue toward Irving Terrace, please make your child walk to the crossing guard at Crosby Avenue and Irving Terrace to cross the street.
It is imperative that walkers proceed immediately out of the building to reduce congestion and allow bus students to line up in an orderly fashion.

Bus Children
All bus students will be dismissed and line up in the building and proceed, with supervision, to their respective buses. Students will board school buses on Irving Terrace.
