KIDNAPPERS ARRESTED – KIDNAPPED BOY RECOVERED

With the arrest of accused person (1)Pushpinder @ Bunty s/o Rajinder Dhama r/o Village Behta Haji Pur, Loni, Gaziabad UP (2)Rajesh @ Raju s/o Rama Nand r/o village Behta Haji Pur Distt Gaziababad UP (3)Rajinder S/o Jai Ram HNo 426 gali no 13 Harsh Vihar Delhi (4)Bihari Lal s/o Khajuru Mal r/o C /487 gali no 14 Harash Vihar Delhi (5)Sanjay Bhardwaj s/o Late Sh Rakesh Chand Bhardwaj r/o C 2 /273 gali no 11 Harsh Vihar Delhi (6)Pawan Kumar Dhama s/o Rama Nand r/o Village Behta Haji Pur, UP and (7)Dhirender Bhardwaj s/o Ramesh Chand Bhardwaj r/o C-2/273 Gali No. 11, Harash Vihar Delhi , the staff of PS Seelam Pur has worked out a case of kidnapping for ransom case and also recovered the kidnapped boy namely Arshad Ahmed s/o Isar Ahmed aged 25 years r/o H.No K 77, New Seelam Pur Delhi .

INCIDENT :-

On 14/1/2014, one Sh Nisar Ahmed s/o Sh Mohd Ahmed r/o K 77 New Seelam Pur Delhi aged 69 years reported at 8:55 PM that his younger son Arshad aged about 25 yrs went to his shop in the morning at about 7 am but did not return home.

At about 7.30 PM Arshad’s friend Arif informed him that Arshad had called him around 4.30 PM at his mobile phone and told that he had been kidnapped by some person and they are demanding cash rupees one lakh to release him else he would be killed. On his statement a case FIR No 32/2014 dt 14/1/2014 u/s 364 A IPC was registered. Apart from this a team of Police staff consisting Inspr Anand Sagar, SHO/ Seelam Pur , SI Jitender , and other staff was constituted under the supervision of Sh Amit Sharma , ACP/ Seelam Pur .

During the course of investigation, the technical data was gathered and analyzed. An area called Behta Haji Pur, Loni, Gaziabad UP was zeroed in on the basis of the analysis of the data. The father of the kidnapped boy Sh Nisar

Ahmed was briefed to be in the constant touch with the kidnappers on their mobile phone and assure them that the amount will be paid to them. Simultaneously the teams of officers were sent to the above mentioned place and after the area was located on the ground, it was mapped on the basis of the technical data and the area was combed.

On 15/1/2014, the father of the kidnapped boy informed in the morning that he had received a phone call from his son at his mobile phone and was asked to reach at Behta Haji Pur Railway Station along with the money in the afternoon. On receipt of this information the Police team led by Sh Amit Sharma, ACP/ Seelam Pur and Inspr Anand Sagar , SHO/ Seelam Pur along with the staff deployed various teams in and around the Behta Haji Pur Railway Station . After briefing the father of the kidnapped boy and Mohd Arif the friend of the kidnapper the nakabandi was made.

At about 1.20 pm, two person who were later identified as Pushpinder @ Bunty s/o Rajinder Dhama r/o Village Behta Haji Pur, Loni, Gaziabad UP (2) Rajesh @ Raju s/o Rama Nand r/o village Behta Haji Pur Distt Gaziababad UP were apprehended as soon as they came to receive the money .

During the interrogation they disclosed that the kidnapped boy was being kept in the room which is the property of Pushpinder alias Bunty . The kidnapped person Mohd Arshad was recovered and remaining accused person namely Pawan Kumar Dhama , Rajinder , Bihari Lal , Sanjay Bhardwaj and Dhirender Bhardwaj who were also present there were also apprehended.

MOTIVE:

The accused person has purchased a plot No. 13 at Khasra No. 24/6 Rajeev Nagar, Mandoli, Delhi, measuring 101 yards from Yogesh through a chain of people inciting through Arshad. Once the deal was struck and money amounting to Rs. 15 lac was exchanged it was revealed that the purchase plot is an already sold plot.

In order to recover the money, the chain of people including Mr. Arshad was abducted and ransom was demanded.

NOTORIOUS GANG OF GAMBLERS BUSTED

The staff of Police Station Rajouri Garden, West District has busted a notorious gang of gamblers operated by a notorious criminal Sanoj involved in 48 cases of Excise and Gambling. He is also a History Sheeter of PS RajouriGarden. Ten members have been arrested and stake money of Rs. 24,300/- has been recovered.

Previous involvements 48 cases of Excise and Gambling Acts and a History Sheeter of PS RajouriGarden.

2. Akash @ Mogali S/o Sh. Sagar Deru, R/o B-253 Raghubir Nagar, Delhi, age 21 years.

3.Davender Singh @ Sunny S/o Jagtar Singh r/o D-41-A, DDA Flats, Shivaji Enclave, New Delhi, age 31 years.

4. Rishi Pal S/o DharmPal R/o D-52-B, DDA Flats, Shivaji Enclave, New Delhi, age 21 years.

5. Amrit Pal S/o Dharam Pal R/o D-52-B, DDA Flats, Shivaji Enclave, New Delhi, age- 24 years.

6. Krishan S/o Shyam Lal R/o R/o B-21-A, DDA Flats, Shivaji Enclave, New Delhi, age-25 years.

7. Amarjot Singh S/o Baldev Singh R/o D-31-C, DDA Flats, Shivaji Enclave, New Delhi, age 27 years.

8. Gurmeet Singh @ Vicky S/o Narender Singh R/o D-37-B, R/o DDA Flats, Shivaji Enclave, New Delhi, age 34 years.

INFORMATION/OPERATION

Keeping in view the current scenario of crime and to keep a check on crime, staff was briefed to collect intelligence about organized crime in the area. On 15.01.2014, during patrolling, a secret information was received by ASI Ishwar Dayal that a notorious gang of gamblers who are actively indulging in gambling in the area of West District has gathered in DDA Park, Vidhwa Colony, Shivaji Enclave, Rajouri Garden and playing satta. The gang is headed by one notorious gambler Sanoj. All the gang members are residents of West Distt. Delhi. Immediately a team comprising SI Rajesh Kumar, ASI Ishwar Dayal, HC Umed and Ct. Vivek under the supervision of SHO Rajouri Garden, Inspr. Praveen Kumar and overall supervision of Dr. Eish Singhal, ACP/Rajouri Garden was constituted and a raid was conducted at the above said place at about 8.30 PM, 10 persons were apprehended. On seeing the raiding party, all of them mixed the playing cards and the stake money. Then they attempted to flee but were overpowered by the raiding party. On interrogation, they disclosed their names and addresses as mentioned above. On interrogation, the kingpin Sanoj disclosed that he is running this racket for about 3-4 days in this park. After interrogation, all the ten people were arrested in Case FIR No. 51/14 dated 15.01.2014 U/s 12/09/55 of Delhi Public Gambling Act. Total Stake money of Rs 24,300/- has been recovered.

INTERROGATION/MODOUS OPERANDI:

During interrogation, Sanoj disclosed that he has been indulging in Gambling and selling of illegal liquor for the last many years and has been previously arrested many times in such crimes. He is very ambitious and indulged in gambling and selling illegal liquor. He started smuggling of illegal liquor from Haryana and earned a lot of money from various parts of the West District. Since last few days there was no profit in the selling of liquor. In the meantime he explored his business of gambling and started his own game. He frequently changes his place in order to avoid the Police. The members who come at his place to play are all common friends and habitual Gamblers.

Staff involved in the good work is being rewarded suitably.

REPUBLIC DAY PARADE – 2014 - REHEARSALS ON

17th, 18th, 20th AND 21st JANUARY, 2014

Rehearsals of Republic Day Parade, 2014 shall be held on Raj Path on 17th,18th, 20th and 21st January, 2014 from Vijay Chowk to India Gate.

Route of Parade: - Vijay Chowk – Rajpath – ‘C’ Hexagon upto India Gate.

In order to facilitate the uninterrupted movement of Parade on Raj Path, there will be restrictions on the movement of traffic crossings at Rafi Marg, Janpath and Mansingh Road from 9.00A.M. till 1200 hours on these dates.

Rajpath from Vijay Chowk to India Gate will also remain closed for traffic.

Ring Road i.e. Ashram Chowk-Sarai Kale Khan – I.P. Flyover – Rajghat.

Buses from south side destined for Central Sectt. shall be curtailed at:

Other buses going to New Delhi Railway Station shall take route via Sardar Patel Marg-Simon Boliver Marg-Upper Ridge Road-Park Street-Mandir Marg.

Because of diverted traffic, congestion is likely to take place on these roads. Motorists are requested to have patience, observe traffic & road discipline and follow directions of Traffic Police personnel deployed at all intersections. People are requested to plan their journey to avoid inconvenience.
