HOSPITALITY STUDIES EDUCATIONAL TOUR – ‘EXPLORING THE CAPE’

From 3 – 7 JULY 2017 – Open to all learners (Gr 8 – Gr 12)

You have never explored the Mother City like we are about to explore it! Table Mountain, picnic at Kirstenbosch, an aquarium visit, an open top bus tour, awesome accommodation and much, much more. Come with us to have a divine culinary experience!

As most of you know, this is not the first school hospitality tour and certainly will not be the last. We have had numerous successful trips with Edu School Tours and this one will be no exception. They are always fun, educational and all learners are very well looked after. We promise good, patient, caring supervision in a controlled environment.

Our tour to the Capewill be from Monday 26 – Friday 30 June 2017. The tour plan, as received from the tour guides is included for your perusal as well as find it under our Resources section on the D6 Communicator.

We would love to have your child join us for this super experience. In order to make it affordable for you, our parents, we need to have a minimum of 20 learners for the tour in order to qualify for the best possible group rate/pricing.

If your child would like to join us on this trip, please ensure the attached forms are completed and returned to us with a copy of your child’s ID document/birth certificate by the end of October 2016. This will give us a good indication as to how many learners will be joining us.

We are looking at an estimated cost per child of R11350.00 per learner, including air tickets, accommodation, meals, excursions and transport with a luxury bus. Payments should be done as follows:

• A deposit of R3000 must be paid to the financial office by 28 October 2016to secure your child’s place. Once the deposit is paid, in the event that the trip is cancelled for an unforeseen reason deposits will be returned to you, however, if the trip is not cancelled by end of February 2017 – there will be NO refunds on deposits paid as this is our final cutoff date for the tour operator.
• The balance of R8350 must then be paid up by 1 June 2017.
