Software Request Form

The attached request is for software to support activities as defined in your partner agreement (NOT software for customers or prospects or Production Use). The license grant provided in your partner agreement governs the use of any software provided to you.

Service/consulting partners It is understood that before requesting support you have been through training in the use and implementation of the software and that the software is provided to support you in delivery of services under your partner agreement. There may also be restrictions on use of the software where certification is required prior to providing services to end users of the software.

Solution/product partners – OEM, reseller and CSP. This software may only be used to support products and integration to them that is defined in your partner agreement. The software usually can be used for support, demonstration and integration development. Any other uses and not for the direct benefit of QAD are not permitted.

Channel partner - Distributors and Sales Agents. This software may only be for demo, any authorized support services or other purposes that is defined in your partner agreement.

If in doubt about your capabilities and what features and functions are part of any given product please ensure you take advantage of training available from QAD in classroom and on-line before contacting support or asking for too much help from other QAD staff.

All software is the property of QAD. By submitting your request you are agreeing to the relevant terms here and in your partner agreement.

The software may include license keys which restrict the use of the software. By definition you agree to manage your use accordingly and not to work around the limits imposed. For questions about keys please contact QAD Support.

The special use/restricted access software requires additional levels of approval in QAD (R&D- Product Management for example) and advanced training and certification as available from QAD to order.

Source code restriction – Source is only for the specific request and customer indicated. You may deliver compiled modification only from this code. No source code may be installed on customer systems or left with customers (whether you think/know they have a license or not). Source code may not be used to provide bug fixes or enhancements to customer off maintenance without the expressed prior written agreement of QAD. Source code modifications are to be provided to QAD.

If this is your first software order this request will also create a customer id for you (if you don’t already have one). To get a web account you must register at The web account will provide access to on-line support systems and information. A web account is prerequisite for electronic software delivery (ESD). ESD may not available to all partners, territories or shipments.
