THREE WOES

  1. Seal Judgements
  2. Trumpet Judgements
  3. Vial or Bowl Judgements

First Woe begins.

Seals

  1. Rev 6: 1-2Conquer

And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures saying, like a sound of thunder, “Come and see.”

And I looked and saw a white horse , and he who sat on it holding a bow. And a crown was given to him, and he went out overcoming and to overcome.

  1. Rev 6: 3-4Removal of Shalom (Peace).

And when He opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying, “Come and see.”

And another horse, fiery red, went out. And it was given to the one who sat on it to take peace from the earth, and that they should slay one another. And a great sword was given to him.

  1. Rev 6: 5-6A days wages for a day of food.Mat 20: 2

And when He opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, “Come and see.” And I looked and saw a black horse, and he who sat on it holding a pair of scales in his hand.

And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, “A quart of wheat for a day’s wage, and three quarts of barley for a day’s wage. And do not harm the oil and the wine.”

  1. Rev 6: 7-8Death of a fourth of mankind.Approx. 1.5 billion killed

And when He opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, “Come and see.”

And I looked and saw a pale horse. And he who sat on it had the name Death, and the grave followed with him. And authority was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and by the beasts of the earth.

  1. Rev 6: 9-11Saints killed.

And when He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the beings of those having been slain for the Word of Elohim and for the witness which they held,

and they cried with a loud voice, saying, “How long, O Master, set-apart and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?”

And there was given to each one a white robe, and they were told that they should rest a little while longer, until both the number of their fellow servants and their brothers, who would be killed as they were, was completed.

  1. Rev 6: 12-17Great earthquake.YHWHs’ (Gods’) wrath poured out.

And I looked when He opened the sixth seal and saw a great earthquake came to be. And the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood.

And the stars of the heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree drops its unripe figs, being shaken by a strong wind.

And heaven departed like a scroll being rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place.

And the sovereigns of the earth, and the great ones, and the rich ones, and the commanders, and the mighty, and every slave and every free one, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains,

and said to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him sitting on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb,

because the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?”

Sealing of the SaintsRev 7

7.Rev 8: 1-5Fire rains down from above with destruction.

And when He opened the seventh seal, there came to be silence in the heaven for about half an hour.

And I saw the seven messengers who stand before Elohim, and to them were given seven trumpets.

And another messenger came and stood at the altar, holding a golden censer, and much incense was given to him, that he should offer it with the prayers of all the set-apart ones upon the golden altar which was before the throne.

And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the set-apart ones, went up before Elohim from the hand of the messenger.

And the messenger took the censer, and filled it with fire from the altar, and threw it to the earth. And there were noises, and thunders, and lightnings, and an earthquake.

Trumpets

1.Rev 8: 6-7A third of trees & all grass dies.

And the seven messengers who held the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.

And the first messenger sounded, and there came to be hail and fire mixed with blood, and they were thrown to the earth. And a third of the trees were burned up, and all green grass was burned up.

2.Rev 8: 8-9A third of all marine life & shipping destroyed.

And the second messenger sounded, and what looked like a great mountain burning with fire was thrown into the sea, and a third of the sea became blood,

and a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.

3.Rev 8: 10-11A third of all water will be contaminated.

The third angel sounded, and a great star fell from the sky, burning like a torch, and it fell on one third of the rivers, and on the springs of the waters.

And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.

4.Rev 8: 12-13

And the fourth messenger sounded, and a third of the sun was struck, and a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them were darkened. And a third of the day did not shine, and likewise the night.

And I looked, and I heard an eagle flying in mid-heaven, crying with a loud voice, “Woe, woe, woe to those dwelling upon the earth, because of the remaining blasts of the trumpet of the three messengers who are about to sound!”

5.Rev 9: 1-11Something happens to the heavens.

And the fifth messenger sounded, and I saw a star from the heaven which had fallen to the earth. And the key to the pit of the deep was given to it.

And he opened the pit of the deep, and smoke went up out of the pit like the smoke of a great furnace. And the sun was darkened, also the air, because of the smoke of the pit.

And out of the smoke locusts came upon the earth, and authority was given to them as the scorpions of the earth possess authority.

And it was said to them that they shall not harm the grass of the earth, or any green matter, or any tree, but only those men who do not have the seal of Elohim upon their foreheads.

And it was given to them that they should not kill them, but to torture them for five months. And their torture was like the torture of a scorpion when it stings a man.

And in those days men shall seek death and shall not find it. And they shall long to die, but death shall flee from them.

And the locusts looked like horses prepared for battle, and on their heads were crowns like gold, and their faces were like the faces of men.

And they had hair like women’s hair, and their teeth were like lions’ teeth.

And they had breastplates like breastplates of iron, and the sound of their wings was like the sound of chariots of many horses running into battle.

And they have tails like scorpions, and stings. And in their tails is their authority to harm men five months.

And they have over them a sovereign, the messenger of the pit of the deep, whose name in Heḇrew is Abaddon, but in Greek he has the name Apolluon.

First Woe is ended.Rev 9:12

The first woe is past. See, two woes are still coming after this.

Second Woe begins.

6.Rev 9: 13-21A third of mankind dies.Approx. 1.5 billion

And the sixth messenger sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before Elohim,

saying to the sixth messenger who had the trumpet, “Release the four messengers, those having been bound at the great river Euphrates.”

And the four messengers, those having been prepared for the hour and day and month and year, were released to kill a third of mankind.

And the number of the armies of the horsemen was two hundred million, and I heard the number of them.

And this is how I saw the horses in the vision and those who sat on them, having breastplates of fiery red, and hyacinth blue, and sulphur yellow. And the heads of the horses were like the heads of lions, and out of their mouths came fire, and smoke, and sulphur.

A third of mankind was killed by these three plagues, by the fire and the smoke and the sulphur which came out of their mouths.

For the authority of the horses is in their mouth and in their tails, for their tails are like serpents, having heads. And with them they do harm.

And the rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands, that they should not worship the demons, and idols of gold, and of silver, and of brass, and of stone, and of wood, which are neither able to see, nor to hear, nor to walk.

And they did not repent of their murders, nor of their drug sorceries, nor of their whoring, nor of their thefts.

Second Woe ends.Rev 11:14

The second woe is past, and see, the third woe is coming speedily.

Third Woe begins.

7.Rev 11: 15-19Judgement continues to be poured out on mankind.

And the seventh messenger sounded, and there came to be loud voices in the heaven, saying, “The reign of this world has become the reign of our Master, and of His Messiah, and He shall reign forever and ever!”

And the twenty-four elders sitting before Elohim on their thrones fell on their faces and worshipped Elohim,

saying, “We give You thanks, O יהוה Ěl Shaddai, the One who is and who was and who is coming, because You have taken Your great power and reigned.

“And the nations were enraged, and Your wrath has come, and the time of the dead to be judged, and to give the reward to Your servants the prophets and to the set-apart ones, and to those who fear Your Name, small and great, and to destroy those who destroy the earth.”

And the Dwelling Place of Elohim was opened in the heaven, and the ark of His covenant was seen in His Dwelling Place. And there came to be lightnings, and voices, and thunders, and an earthquake, and great hail.

Vials or Bowls

1.Rev 16: 1-2Those who receive the mark of the beast are vexed with sores.

And I heard a loud voice from the Dwelling Place saying to the seven messengers, “Go and pour out the bowls of the wrath of Elohim on the earth.”

And the first went and poured out his bowl upon the earth, and an evil and wicked sore came upon the men, those having the mark of the beast and those worshipping his image.

2.Rev 16: 3All marine life dies.

And the second messenger poured out his bowl on the sea, and it became blood, as of a dead one, and every living creature in the sea died.

3.Rev 16: 4-7All waters are polluted.

And the third messenger poured out his bowl on the rivers and fountains of water, and they became blood.

And I heard the messenger of the waters saying, “You are righteous, O יהוה, the One who is and who was and who shall be, because You have judged these.

“Because they have shed the blood of set-apart ones and prophets, and You have given them blood to drink. For they deserve it.”

And I heard another out of the altar saying, “Yes, יהוה Ěl Shaddai, true and righteous are Your judgments.”

4.Rev 16: 8-9Radiation burns.

And the fourth messenger poured out his bowl on the sun, and it was given to him to burn men with fire.

And men were burned with great heat, and they blasphemed the Name of Elohim who possesses authority over these plagues. And they did not repent, to give Him esteem.

5.Rev 16: 10-11Yahweh/Yahuah hides the sun.

And the fifth messenger poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and his reign became darkened. And they gnawed their tongues from pain.

And they blasphemed the Elohim of the heaven for their pains and their sores, and did not repent of their works.

6.Rev 16: 12-14Severe drought.

And the sixth messenger poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up, in order to prepare the way of the sovereigns from the east.

And I saw coming out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet, three unclean spirits, as frogs,

for they are spirits of demons, doing signs, which go out to the sovereigns of the entire world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of יהוה the Almighty.

7.Rev 16: 17-21A cataclysmic earthquake and giant hail stones.

And the seventh messenger poured out his bowl into the air, and a loud voice came out of the Dwelling Place of the heaven, from the throne, saying, “It is done!”

And there came to be noises and thunders and lightnings. And there came to be a great earthquake, such a mighty and great earthquake as had not came to be since men were on the earth.

And the great city became divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. And great Baḇel was remembered before Elohim, to give her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of His wrath.

And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.

And great hail from the heaven fell upon men, every hailstone about the weight of a talent. And men blasphemed Elohim for the plague of the hail, because that plague was exceedingly great.

As it relates to Rev 19

Mat 24: 29-31

“And immediately after the distress of those days the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give its light, and the stars shall fall from the heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken.

“And then the sign of the Son of Aḏam shall appear in the heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth shall mourn, and they shall see the Son of Aḏam coming on the clouds of the heaven with power and much esteem.

“And He shall send His messengers with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together His chosen ones from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.

Watch Therefore

Mat 24: 36-51

“But concerning that day and the hour no one knows, not even the messengers of the heavens, but My Father only.

“And as the days of Noaḥ, so also shall the coming of the Son of Aḏam be.

“For as they were in the days before the flood, eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noaḥentered into the ark,

and they did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also shall the coming of the Son of Aḏam be.

“Then two shall be in the field, the one is taken and the one is left.

“Two shall be grinding at the mill, one is taken and one is left.

“Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Master is coming.

“And know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into.

“Because of this, be ready too, for the Son of Aḏam is coming at an hour when you do not expect Him.

“Who then is a trustworthy and wise servant, whom his master set over his household, to give them food in season?

“Blessed is that servant whom his master, having come, shall find so doing.

“Truly, I say to you that he shall set him over all his possessions.

“But if that evil servant says in his heart, ‘My master is delaying his coming,’

and begins to beat his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunkards,

the master of that servant shall come on a day when he does not expect it, and at an hour he does not know,

and shall cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites – there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
