Unit 10 (exercise 8a) – Adjective Dictation Exercise

Instructions:

Most of the adjectives included in Exercise 8 of Unit 10 in the textbook will be new to low-level students – this activity gets the students telling each other the meanings of these (and a few other new adjectives.

Step 1 – Divide the class into 5 groups and give each member of the group the same adjective sheet with the same 4 answers included.

Step 2 – Tell the students to stand up and tell 2 of their answers to a member of another group, and allow them to write down the answer on their sheet – and then let the other student tell you 2 answers and write them down on your sheet.

Step 3 – Exchange papers and repeat the procedure again with another student. Repeat until all the students have all the answers.
