Welcome to 2016,

The CKCSC of Victoria hope all members and their families had a lovely holiday break and have now settled safely into 2016 routines.

The club is owned by the members. The committee would like to see members taking ownership of the club and helping out with the organization and setting up of events…many hands make light work and create laughter and fun.

Without members contributing their time the club cannot run successful events for the members…

Remember It’s All About The Dogs….the CKCS’

Our planning for the June 2016 Specialty Shows is now underway with many facets in place.

The shows will be held on Sunday 12th June and Monday 13th June 2016 at KCC Park, Dogs Victoria, Westernport Hwy, Skye, Victoria.

Due to illness Mrs. Gillian Greenall (UK) is now unable to judge but we are pleased to announce that

Mr. Michael Levy (UK)…”Pascavale” will now be judging our show on Sunday 12th June 2016.

Mrs. Katie Sloan (UK)…”Turretbank” is our judge on Monday 13th June 2016.

Donations for our Trophy table are most welcome and deposits can be made direct into the club’s account as follows:

Best In Show: donation $20 rosette $40 trophy

Runner Up Best In Show: donation $16 rosette $35 trophy

Opposite Sex to Best In Show: donation $15 rosette $30 trophy

Best Classes In Show: donation $15 rosette $25 trophy

Opposite Sex to Best Classes In Show: donation$15.00 rosette $20 trophy

(Rosettes for Best Neuter and Opposite Neuter of Breed/In Show has already been donated)

Challenge & Res Challenge Rosettes: donation $10 X 4

Sunday Only:

Property Class Sashes: X 5……. (Best Tri-colour In Show has already been donated)

Monday Only:

Parade of Veteran Rosettes: $10……numbers of veterans is unknown but we expect 5-10 exhibits…..

Joy McInnes is organizing a Heart Clinic with Richard Woolley on the Sunday 13th June 2016 to be held in conjunction with the show.

Further details will be available closer to the date.

The other exciting event on the Club’s calendar is the

Agility/Jumping/Games Trial

This will be held on Saturday 19th March 2016 at KCC Park

Sue Smith is organizing this event with her band of helpers and has the organization of the vent well underway. Details can be found on the clubs website.

The Club’s Open Show will be held at the Bulla Dogs Victoria Complex this year on Sunday 18th of September commencing at 1.00pm.

CKCS’ will be judged at Melbourne Royal on Saturday 17th September 2016….

Linda Hocking will be in charge of the Breed Stand at the Melbourne Royal and will be coordinatingvolunteers and the CKCS’ to man/dog the booth, (you do not have to be entered or showing at the Royal to volunteer your services).
