(Children under the age of 16 can help with fund-raising events, making toys for the animals, collecting redeemable cans/bottles, collecting towels, making popsicles for the dogs, etc. but they cannot be directly involved in animal care. Children 16 - 18 are welcome to work with cats/kittens (not dogs) at the discretion of the Board and so long as they are supervised by a parent or other adult.)
