Function Room House Rules
v No cooking on premises. The Forest Inn Hotel has a food
preparation room only, no kitchen. This includes, a fridge, sink
and table. For heating food and keeping it warm we suggest you
organize a bain-marie.
v If decorating the room, no sticky tape is to be used on the walls.
We do allow blue tack, but only blue tack branded blue tack.
v All balloon cylinders must be put only on carpet or tiles. Please do not put it on the dance floor as it will scratch it.
v Please be aware that in your last appointment you will finalise
the furniture arrangement for your party. Although we are happy
to make minor changes on the day of your function, complete
furniture configuration changes will be charged at a cost.
v All DJ equipment must be free standing, including lighting. DJ’s
must bring their own speakers.
v All loading in and out of the Forest Inn Hotel function room can
be done via the bottle shop car park BEFORE your function start
time. You must load in quickly then remove your car to the street.
The bottle shop is a 5 min parking zone.
v DVD slideshows must be tested before your function date. We
accept no responsibility for DVD’s that do not work on the night of
your function.
v The Forest Inn Hotel reserves the right to close down any
function if you or your guests display any of the following;
- Violent behaviour
- Evidence of Drug Use
- Anti-social behaviour
- Any behaviour that threatens the conditions of our Liquor
License.
v In regards to your security deposit, this applies to damage made
to the room. You are responsible for your guests’ behaviour. It is
your responsibility to inspect the room before your function and
to make aware the manager on duty of any pre-existing damage.
The Forest Inn Hotel pride itself on having a damage free room.
v The bar staff at the Forest Inn Hotel will do what they can on the night for you to have the best function possible. However, please keep in mind that our staff are there to service all bar related duties only. Although we are happy to assist in collecting guests rubbish throughout the night. Please note that the bar staff are not responsible for your catering requirements.
v If for some unforseen circumstance you need to cancel your function booking. less then 4 weeks notice of cancellation results in the loss of the Room Hire Fee.
By booking your function at The Forest Inn Hotel you are accepting
the Forest Inn Hotel will be hosting your party. As we are a licensed
premises we run all our functions in accordance with R.S.A
(Responsible Service of Alcohol) practices.
If one of your guests (Including the birthday boy/girl) appears drunk
and/or disorderly, they will not be served, and asked to leave.
The Forest Inn Hotel is proud to provide a professional, enjoyable
