About the Speakers:

/ Larry Head, Global Director of Events, Diageo.Larry was promoted to his current position in 2007, having worked in the marketing and event departments of Diageo and Heublien for the previous 12 years. In this role, Larry took over 900 senior leaders of the business through 14 events in 7 countries and was responsible for the implementation and execution in the DLPP - the largest internalprogrammeof its kind ever run at Diageo. In June 2009, Larry was seconded to the Guinness Global Brand team for the Guinness 250th Anniversary programme - a global series of celebrations for which Larry was responsible for directing and hosting hospitality for over 2,000 invited VIP guests.
/ Debbie Donaldson, Global Development Director, Grass Roots. Debbie has worked in the live communications and event management industry since 1980, having graduated with a degree in Economics. Debbie joined Grass Roots UK in 2006 as Client Services Director with responsibility for developing new business and key account management for the whole portfolio of Grass Roots’ performance improvement services; as well as managing the Events division. In July 2009 Debbie was appointed Global Development Director of the Meetings, Events and Communications division of Grass Roots. She has responsibility for growing this area of the business throughout the Grass Roots network of 16 countries – this includes product development, global account management, global marketing and healthcare sector growth.
/ David Kliman, President, The Kliman Group. David is a former Chair of Meeting Professionals International (MPI) and has served as a delegate on the White House Conference on Travel and Tourism. He co-chaired the MPI/PCMA (Professional Convention Management Association) Tomorrow's Summit Conference and has served on MPI's Multi-Cultural Initiative committee. In 1999 he was awarded MPI’s International Planner of the year.
