5.PRESENTATION OF CLASS

This is the time in the program when you go to the stage to receive yourcertificates. An instructor will lead you to the left of the stage. The scholarship recipients will fall into line alphabetically, with their cluster, to receive certificates. Remain at the bottom of the stage until the instructor makes his/her way to thestage. An announcer will call each student’s name in a loud, clear voice, at which time the student will go up the steps to receive his/her certificate.

After receiving your certificate, proceed across the stage, shake hands withyour instructors in the receiving line and then proceed down the steps back to your seat.

6.Please refrain from cat calls, cheers, and the like, while students’ names are announced. Each parent, relative and friend came to hear someone’s name called out from the stage. Don’t disrespect them by making noises that would obliterate the name.
