  • This form must be completed in Arial 11.
  • Evidence needs to be specific and focused on your personal involvement, experience and actions. The evidence you present must be from the last THREE years. The appropriateness of your application will be determined by the extent that your evidence relates to the competency area being asked about, how thoroughly you respond to the questions asked and how appropriate your examples are in relation to the issues facing City of London Police.
  • Ensure that your answers relate to the PPF framework for the rank of Sergeant.
  • At the end of each question in Section 3, you are required to provide the name and contact details of a verifier who can confirm the accuracy of the information you have provided. As part of this assessment this person may be contacted to verify the information provided.
  • It is your responsibility to ensure the application form is completed and returned via email to no later than 5pm on Friday 13th April 2018.
  • The Application form is divided into two parts to assist in the anonymisation of the application forms. The personal details section will not be provided to the panel and a reference number will be used for internal recording purposes. The supporting evidence forms will be sent to the panel members who will shortlist the applications against the set criteria.To assist in this, please where possible do not insert your name anywhere else on the application other than on this part of the application (personal details section), and where possible make the application gender neutral.
  • The successful applicant(s) will be appointed subject to Medical Clearance and Security Vetting.
