Text Messaging Alerts
Dear Parents and Guardians,
For the past five years, I have created a list for a text messaging alert. If you or your student chooses to sign up for this list, I can send school reminders directly to your cell phone. Here are some example reminders:
“Don’t forget interim parent signatures are due tomorrow”
“SAP conferences are tonight from 5-7pm”
“Bring your posters tomorrow for presentations”
All messages would be sent via email from my computer to your phone. In order to do this, I must know the cell phone carrier. For example, if you receive service from Verizon Wireless, this would be your carrier. I will also need the area code. If you are interested, please fill out the following information and have your student return the following sheet to Mrs. McCreary by Friday, August 31st.
Mrs. McCreary
Student Name (please print) ______
Student Cell Phone # ( ) ______
Student’s Cell Phone Carrier______
Parent Name (please print) ______
Parent Cell Phone # ( ) ______
Parent Cell Phone Carrier______
You have my permission to send text messages to my cell phone and/or my student’s cell phone. I am aware that all fees from my carrier would apply.
