City of CarterLake is working hard on the Lake Shore Projects

------

The City of Carter Lake is moving quickly on the multiple lake shore projects planned for this summer. The city crews have completed the grading, shoreline armoring, and tree planting. WaveCrestPark is now ready for sod and grass. The lake access at 8th and R Street is armored, graded and trees are planted. The ClubPark work has started by starting at the west side and going east. The old trees falling into the lake are being removed and the crew is manually sorting through the shoreline erosion to pull out the thousands of cobblestones from the old boardwalk along the ClubPark. Take a walk or drive to the parks to watch the progress. It changes daily!
