Cupcake celebration assignment

Section 1 – Description

Romeo is a handsome 11-year-old boy whose interests are playing sports such as soccer and basketball, he also loves anything scary and horror related. He loves to watch scary movies, as well as scare pranking his friends and family members. Another one of his hobbies is mathematics in which he is good at.He always persists and tries hard in mathematics in order for him to be on top of his class. His favourite foods are; cupcakes, chicken wings, dumplings, dim sims, fried rice, chips and chocolate. His favourite colour is turquoise, aqua, blue, green, and purple. He is a fun and outgoing person and he loves to be with his family and friends. He is a cheeky but extremely smart and intelligent person. If he thinks someone is going through a hard time then he will go up to him/her and support them with whatever they need. Overall is a great and extraordinary person with a good heart.


Section 4 – Foods and party game:

Party Foods:

Guacamole from a pumpkin(savory)

Ingredients:

  • A pumpkin
  • Guacamole
  • Chips

Steps –

Step 1: Carve the pumpkin so that it has facial features such as eyes, a nose, and a mouth. Also, cut a circle out on top of the pumpkin’s head.

Step 2: Get a plate and place the pumpkin on top.

Step 3: Place chips around the pumpkin.

Step 4: Now lift up the circle cut out of the pumpkin’s head and place guacamole inside the pumpkin until it starts coming out of the pumpkins mouth. Keep going until the guacamole starts reaching the end of the plate.

Step 5: Then serve.


Triple Dipped S’mores Apples

Ingredients:

  • 10 Granny Smith apples
  • 2 tbsp. of unsalted butter
  • 1 large bag Marshmallows
  • 283g of milk chocolate chips
  • 2 cups of Graham crackers.

Steps –

Step 1: Remove stems and skewer each apple.

Step 2: Place a saucepan over a stove and place on low heat.

Step 3: Place the butter in the saucepan until it melts. Add marshmallows, and stir until also melted

Step 4: At a time dip each apple in and then place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Then place in the fridge, allowing it to cool and set for about 15 minutes.

Step 5: Melt the chocolate chips in a double boiler over low heat, stirring continuously. Dip an apple into the chocolate, stopping two-thirds of the way up. Shortly dip the lower third of the apple into a bowl of crushed Graham crackers. Rotate the apple to coat it evenly.

Step 6: Transfer to a parchment-lined baking sheet. Repeat for all apples and then place it in the fridge where it can cool down and set, for about 15 minutes.

Step 7: Take the baking sheet with the apples on top out of the fridge and serve.


Monster Jaws (healthy)

Ingredients:

  • Apples
  • Almonds
  • MnMs (optional)
  • Peanut butter (optional)

Steps –

Step 1: Cut each apples into quarters.

Step 2: Remove the seeds and core from every quarter.

Step 3: Cut a wedge into each quarter. This is where the teeth will go.

Step 4: Stick pieces of slivered almonds into each quarter wedge to form the teeth.

Step 5 (optional): Dot some peanut butter in the size of an MnM on top of the wedge to create two eyes for each monster.

Step 6 (optional): Place an MnM on the two peanut butter dots.

Step 7: Then serve.


Party game:

Halloween Candy Guessing Game

Before the game –Romeo (the party boy) will place in how much candy he wants into a glass jar. He will count each time he places a candy in the jar. He does this until the glass jar is filled up with candy. Once he is done, he writes the exact amount of candy he placed into the glass jar down on a piece of paper and hides it so no one can see.

Rules –Each persongets 20 seconds to grab the glass jar or bucket (containing however many candy inside) and inspect it. After the 20 seconds, they will need to guess how much candy is inside the glass jar.Whoever guesses the right amount or the closest amount is the winner.

Prizes -The winner will receive the glass jar of candy.

This party game suits the party theme because Halloween is about giving candy and this game does just that.
