That the Town of Raymore approve the minutes as amended of the regular meeting of Council held February 22, 2017 as read.

StatementThat the Town of Raymore Statement of Financial Activities for the month ending February 28, 2017 be accepted as presented and subsequently filed.

That the following correspondence and reports as introduced by the Administrator be filed:

Delegation:

7:20 pm – 7:48 pm

Craig Cleary and Rod Rudinsky attended the meeting to go over the yearly Occurrence Report and asked what could be done better. The have a Community Program Officer that is in Raymore.

Mayor Malcolm Koncz chaired the rest of the meeting

7:48 pm – 8:05 pm

Town of Raymore Melvin Lovas and Ron Hido attended the meeting to discuss any outside maintenance issues or concerns with Council.

8:05 pm – 8:40

Kelly from Henderson Playground and Rita Morrow attended the meeting to look over playground equipment ideas. Kelly will have some more ideas for the meeting on Monday March 27, 2017 at the administration office at 7:30 pm.

Reports:

Aaron Millar reported on the Coop meeting that he, Lorne, Malcolm attend the night before.

Malcolm talked about the possibility of purchasing two digital signs on for the highway and one for main street tabled for next meeting.

Council will talk to Punnichy town council to see if we could purchase the chiller for Raymore Curling Rink this is still in the works from last meeting.

Malcolm approved a letter sent to the Competition Board to find out if there is anything can help us with concerning Cargill.

Joanne Hamilton the Administrator reported on the going’s on in the town

Office.

AcceptanceThat the Town of Raymore accept the tender from Touchwood Hill Regional Landfill for the purchase of the Kubota M9000 for twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000.00) as is.

Joanne Hamilton the CAO will reply to the R.M. of Mount Hope concerning the recycling portion that they have been paying to the Town of Raymore

FurnaceThat the Town of Raymore ask for Quotes from Chad Hubick, Acton’s Plumbing and Heating and Wade Sentes to replace the water plant furnace.

CooperativeThat the Town of Raymore deny the request to lower the cost of the service road. It will be added to the Last Mountain Cooperative taxes if not paid by June30, 2017.
