The American Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Association ALL-AMERICAN PROGRAM is a means of recognizing those Nigerian Dwarfs who have been proven in the show ring. An All-American and Reserve winner will be chosen in each class.

  1. To qualify for nomination, entries must meet ALL of the following requirements:
  1. Registered with the American Goat Society (AGS), American Dairy Goat Assn (ADGA) and/or Canadian Goat Society (CGS);
  2. At the time of nomination, each animal must bear a legible tattoo and have no disqualifying faults;
  3. Height must be indicated on animals over one year of age. Overheight animals are not eligible.
  4. Entries must have competed in an official AGS, ADGA or CGS show during the contest year and have been awarded one of the following:

1)Grand or Reserve Grand, Senior/Junior Champion,

2)First in an individual class,

3)Second in an individual class with more than thirty Nigerian Dwarves shown (30 does for doe entries or 30 bucks for buck entries).

  1. All entries must be owned or co-owned by a member in good standing of the American Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Association (ANDDA), or by a minor child/children of an ANDDA member in good standing.
  2. Winners will be selected by an official AGS, ADGA and/or CGS judge chosen by the All-American Committee.
  3. The AGS, ADGA or CGS show which qualified the nominated animal must be listed on the official entry form. Classification scores, DHIA records, etc. written on the form will disqualify the entry.
  4. One side view picture is required. It is preferred that a rear view, a top view, and a front view also be provided in order to give the judges a more complete view of the animal. Please submit only one picture per view. If handlers are visible in the photos, they should not be identifiable. Any identifying information on the photo itself or copyright information will disqualify the entry. All photos must have been taken during the year for which the animal is nominated, and close to the age of the class entered (Example: A junior kid photo should preferably be taken when the kid is still under 3 months).
  5. Photos, conventional or digital, must be sharp and clear; either black & white or color is acceptable. Digital photos are preferred and should be in jpg format. Pictures will be edited ONLY for size. A standard width will be used, and proportions will be maintained when resizing. Conventional photos will be scanned and will not be returned.. ANDDA does not guarantee the quality of scanned or resized photos. The animal should be clearly identifiedon the back of each photo or by the name of a digital photo(by the animal’s name, not registration number). Submitting pictures gives ANDDA full rights to publish or re-publish in any venue.
  6. It is the owner’s responsibility to verify the accuracy of all information provided on the entry form. Any entries found to be fraudulent will disqualify an animal either before or after the competition.
  7. An entry fee of $2.00 per animal must accompany the nomination form or be sent to ANDDA via PayPal.
