Explain how funds will be used.
- Funds raised will be used by the Music department for various activities; including concerts, band and orchestra performances.
Describe the fundraising activity, including description of items to be sold and the amount for which they will be sold. (Attach brochures or other information to this form if necessary.)
- The fundraiser main item to be sold is pre-made cookie dough of different types. Including chocolate chip, oatmeal, sugar and others. These will come in tubs or in pre-portions. The price will be $16 each.
- Also to be sold are gift items such as: low value jewelry, picture frames, gift wrap, popcorn, nuts, chocolates and berries, and magazines. The price range for these will run approximately $10-$25.

- No upfront money is required
Is there a risk that the district could lose money? If so, explain.
- The fundraiser requires payment at the time of the customer order before the product is released to buyer, so risk is very minimal. The only anticipated risk are any returned checks and this is has been very minimal.

Will Students be involved in the fundraiser? If so, explain their role and include an estimate of the amount of instructional time, if any, that will be used to implement the fundraiser.
- Students will be the salesperson for the product and this will be done outside of school hours. The only anticipated class interruption will be on the kick off day which will require 10-15 minutes of class time to announce the activity and to provide the materials for the activity.
Will staff members other than yourself be involved? If so, explain how they will be involved and include an estimate of the time during their working hours that they will be involved.
- Music teachers will have minimum involvement. They will collect any orders and funds and will hold them in a secure place until they are collected by the music parents.
Will the fundraiser be advertised? If so,how?
- Yes. We will be using music department website, requesting a mass phone call and other social media.
Describe the method of collecting and securing funds, including a description of how sales and receipt of funds will be documented and how the risk of theft will be minimized.
- As students return orders and funds this will be collected and secured in the music department safe
- The funds will then be collected by the Music Parents on 3-4 separate occasions during the fundraising time. Funds will be counted and verified against orders.
- They will be immediately be deposited by the Music Parents Treasurer.
