Executive Profile

Results oriented Supply Chain Finance and Accounting Manager:

·  Worked as an accounting manager for Procter & Gamble.

·  Managed monthly closing of financial results in manufacturing and advertising.

·  Developed and monitored budget planning spreadsheets for plant operations.

·  Analyzed and developed resolutions to complex manufacturing accounting work processes.

While performing in a financial environment has also been a Project Leader for the implementation of various accounting and inventory tracking systems. Since 1996 has been working in the SAP FI/CO module analyzing work processes and developing viable work solutions as well as working through 5 full implementation cycles. This included.

·  Working through 5 complete lifecycle start-ups within the Procter & Gamble Paper Division.

·  Organized and tracked As/Is To/Be Analysis mapping current processes to proposed new processes and determining the gaps.

·  Managed Super Users, Key Users and End Users in the manufacturing plants where SAP was implemented.

o  Worked closely with users during As/Is To/Be Sessions clarifying processes and issues.

o  Trained and certified users in the final SAP processes that were implemented.

o  Configured details primarily in FICO modules but also configured details in MM module.

Configured FI/CO IMG details to meet the work process requirements that were being implemented. Some key examples of configuration are:

·  OKB9 – Automatic Account Assignment to Cost Centers

·  OMWB – Auto match Cost Element Assignment

·  OBYC – Automatic Posting Table

·  OMJJ – Movement Type Links to Cost Elements and General Ledger Accounts.

These four examples are just a few of the critical details I have configured to have SAP post accounting transactions automatically and accurately.

In addition to FI/CO has also developed work processes and performed configuring in the following SAP modules:

·  PCA- Profit Center Accounting

·  MM – Materials Management.

·  COPA – Controlling and Profitability Analysis.

·  SD – Sales and Distribution

·  PM – Plant Maintenance

These experiences have provided extensive skills for developing and implementing supply chain process and technology programs used for administering budgets and assuring that accounting activity followed generally accepted accounting principles. This demonstrates that Goodhart is equally adept at leading and developing accounting departments, IT projects and manufacturing operations.

These system implementations have occurred in cross cultural environments as well. This work has been done in the following countries:

·  Japan – worked on analysis of Plant Maintenance solution.

·  Belgium – worked on manufacturing accounting global solution.

·  Costa Rica – trained and certified 40 new employees who became the North America Cost Accounting support group.

·  Netherlands – as a consultant traveled to client’s home office to learn about legacy system and how to integrate with SAP.

All of these experiences show that Dan Goodhart is a well rounded Manufacturing Accounting and IT specialist who has eleven plus years of SAP FI/CO experience along with exposure to other SAP modules via the integration of the system.
