The England Senior DevelopmentChampionship is contested in adherence to the rules governing AIBA AOB and directives / policies and procedures issued by England Boxing Ltd.

1. The championship is open to:
Male boxers born between 01/01/76 and 1998 and who have had their 18th birthday
Female boxers born between 01/01/76 and 31/12/97
2. Experience:
Class A–
Male boxers: 2 – 10 bouts, femaleboxers:2 – 6 bouts at 31/07/2016(boxed over 3 x 2 minute rounds).
Class B –
Male boxers: 11 – 20 bouts at 31/07/2016 (boxed over 3 x 3 minute rounds).
Female boxers: 7 – 14 bouts at 31/07/2016 (boxed over 4 x 2 minute rounds).
3. Boxers may enter through one Regional Association only.
4. The boxer’s medical card must be produced at the initial weigh-in and at all subsequent rounds
5. Boxers may transfer weight category up until the initial weigh-in. Their weight at the initial weigh-in will determine the category they will box in. Boxers cannot change weight category after the initial weigh-in.
6. All entry forms must be filled in accurately and honestly. Entry forms must be correctly signed.
7. By allowing a boxer to enter the championships, the boxer is deemed to have consented to any official video recording and photography and to allow the boxer’s name, photographs and video footage to be used for publicity purposes (according with England Boxing’s Child Protection policies).
8. During the two-hour weigh-in period boxers may have as many check weighs as is required up to the official closure of the scales. Male boxers may weigh-in naked if required. Female boxers cannot be weighed in naked.
9. There will be no weight allowance in this championship.
10. Boxers and coaches are reminded that championships are subject to anti-doping regulations.
11. The scoring machines (computer) should be used at all rounds of the championship.
12. If there is no opponent for a boxer at the national final, the boxer can only be awarded the national title if they have boxed in an earlier round.
13. An entry fee of £5 must accompany each application.
14. ANY BOXER OR CLUB FOUND TO HAVE DECLARED THE INCORRECT NUMBER OF BOUTS WILL BE IMMEDIATELY DISQUALIFIED FROM THE CHAMPIONSHIP AND REFERRED TO THE TECHNICAL & RULES R&Js and CHAMPIONSHIP COMMITTEE TO CONSIDER FURTHER ACTION
