Plasfilms present new copper and gold décors at KBB
With four brand new copper décors and two new golds available now (as single rolls on three-day delivery), Plasfilms is promising to inspire at KBB with a presentation of irresistible magical metallics showcased in furniture and fascias.
Ideal for 1D and 2D lamination or profile wrapping, the 0.25mm thick, 1300 wide PVC rolls offer high scratch and mar resistance and are available in polished as well as brushed and satin finishes. The Italian-made collection from Bonlex also includes brushed and polished stainless steel options.
Complementing the pure coppers, golds and steels, Plasfilms is also introducing a new collection of pearlescent finishes in 0.4mm thickness that show different aspects of their colour spectrum as the light changes. Reminiscent of advanced automotive finishes that change from one colour to another as the light strikes the curve of each panel at a different angle, the 3D pressing range includes several options, among them anthracites that sparkle with golds, and greys that turn to blue or red.
“These are aimed primarily at the contracts market, though some of them could be used to good effect in kitchens or bathrooms,” commented Plasfilms’ Chris Green. “The pearlescent Anthracite is a new take on the flat greys that have been around in the market for quite a while now. The pearlescent effect gives a real lift to a flat colour.”
