GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

CLEAN CAMPUS: Green flag!

DISNEYLAND BUS SIGN UPS: Seniors! Bus sign ups will take place TODAY at 5:30pm at the practice gym. You will get in a bus line with your friends. BRING YOUR ID!!You will also be receiving all of the information you need for Grad Nite such as medication forms, prohibited items, dress code etc. This information can also be found at lincolnhigh.org.

PROM 2017: This year’s prom:Bollywood Ball is May 13th from 8pm-12am at Brookside Country Club. Eligibility forms are now available in the Activities Office. Bids are on sale TODAY and May 5 andMonday,May 8 during lunch in the Activities Office. Prices are on the eligibility forms and in the LINK online and we accept CASH ONLY. All eligibility forms and guest passes are due to the Student Service Center by noon on May 5th. Please note: Those students taking the AP Biology & Music Theory exam on May 8th need to purchase their bid by May 5th. Buy your bids early to avoid the long line!!

ELIGIBILITY:If you know, or you suspect you are ineligible for prom or Disneyland due to unexcused absences or tardies, you must see your alpha secretary immediately as there are only 1 Saturday schools left before prom, and 2 before Disneyland. The dates are as follows: May 6th, and 13th, (for Disneyland only).

CAPS & GOWNS: Just a reminder to seniors. Today is the day to pick up all cap and gown and Jostens orders or to purchase a cap and gown. The Jostens representative will be located in front of the Ed Planning Center (Room 1418) at LUNCH only.

LINCOLN HIGH CHOIR PRESENTS: The Wizard of Oz!!! Come see Dorothy and all of her friends in this spectacular musical directed by Mrs. Elizabeth Costello. Performances are on May 4, 5 and 6 at 7:00 p.m. and May 7that 2:00 p.m. in our brand new auditorium. Tickets are $10.00 and can be purchased from Mr. Kimball in the choir room at lunch and after 7thperiod or at the door on show nights! We’re off to see the wizard!!!!

SUMMER SCHOOL: If you received a Summer School form from your Counselor during Registration, please turn forms in ASAP. Students who have any D/F grades in May, should see their Counselor againto discuss Summer School options. Do not wait until June, as classes will be full! Students who fail classes and do not attendSummer School areat risk of not graduating.

SCHOOL SITE COUNCIL: School Site Council is an amazing opportunity to get involved next year! We make decisions regarding our school, and many other things. It is composed of staff members, parents, and students. If you are interested in being a student representative for the School Site Council, please pick up an application in the Administration Office. There will be an informational meeting on Thursday, May 4th during lunch in the Lecture Hall, Room 1113. Applications are due Wednesday, May 10, 2017 by 3p.m. to Linda Chadwick in the Lincoln High School Administration Office.

DRAMA CLUB: Drama Club is please to announce a student written 2 day lunchtime event. "Presenting, Betrayal and Retribution: A Star Wars Story” written and directed by Justin Vickers. Come experience it live in the Black Box Theater May 4th and 5th at lunch, starting at 11:30. Come and hang out with your friends as you experience Star Wars like you've never seen it before! May the 4th Be With You!

LIBRARY: The library will be closed to all students on Wednesday May 10th and Thursday May 11th.

LINCOLN CHARITY RUN/WALK: Save the date—May 20, 2017. Registration forms are available at school or online at www.lincolncharityrun.com

SENIORS GOING TO DELTA: If you plan to attend Delta next year, please see your counselor to find out how to sign-up for “New Student Saturday’s” at Delta College.

GRAD NIGHT: Attention Seniors - Don't put off buying your Grad Nights - Purchase in the month of May and you still save money! Tickets are $40 and you still get 10 raffle tickets! Don't get stuck buying your ticket at the door. Tickets are available in Room 1104 during lunch.

GRADUATION FLOWERS: Graduation is fast approaching. Get your orders in soon for graduation leis and flowers by going online toWWW.KAHUNAFLOWERS.COM and follow the easy online ordering instructions. BLOOD DRIVE: Did you know one in three people will need donated blood in their lifetime? The LHS spring blood drive will be held on Wednesday, May 24th. Sign-ups will be held at lunch in front of the school and the activities office. Sign ups begin today at lunch in front of the school. Sign up to save lives!
