ALUMNI ASSOCIATION

The Alumni Association is asking for everyone's support for their Fall Clean up Initiative at River Field on Saturday October 15from9am - 2pm. This is a perfect opportunity for students to accumulate some of their required service hours while devoting their time to a good cause. Permission forms and a signup sheet are available in the Student Affairs Office. Any student wishing to participate must bring their signed permission form with them on the day of the clean-up.

AMBASSADORS

There are signups for the Fall Open House (10/30) in Ms. Ann’s office.

The October AOH Meeting will take place thisWednesday, October 12immediately following 8th period in Room 38. We have a lot of service projects planned and encourage new members to attend. Kerr Scholarship recipients are also required to attend.

COMMUMITY SERVICE CORPS (CSC)

Attention all students!! We have kicked off the Peanut Butter and Jelly drive!! Please bring your peanut butter and jelly in anytime fromOctober 3rd to October 24th! The locations for PB & J collection will be in Student Services, Student Affairs and the Main Office. The Peanut Butter and Jelly collection benefits the Nutritional Development Services of the Archdiocese. Thank you for your help!

NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY

Any student who is applying to be part of NHS is reminded that your application is due today by the end of the 8th period. Please bring your application to the Student Affairs Office. See Ms.Kuvic or senior Joe Pizzo with any questions.

RCHS – VOTER REGISTRATION 2016

Roman Catholic is conducting a voter registration effort. All seniors will receive an informational pamphlet in their homerooms. Eligible students may register online atvotespa.com. Paper applications, voting guides and additional information may be found in the Guidance Office. The deadline to register istoday - Tuesday, October 11, 2016. Only students who will be 18 years of age on Election DayNovember 8, 2016are eligible to register. Please see Mr. Corrigan or any social studies teacher for additional information.

They’re baaaack!! You’ll be happy to hear that SADD will be selling pretzels before homeroom tomorrow in the cafeteria. Pretzels make you better looking.

THE CAHILLITE

There will be a brief meeting of the School Newspaper at2:45pmWednesdayin the Library. The purpose of this meeting will be to assign articles, establish due dates, and finalize the format so that you can all work independently. Please e-mail Mr. Flannery with questions.

Sophomore Captain Michael Maciocha scored a penalty shot.

Freshman John Nelson had 4 saves for the shutout in goal.

TENNIS

Interested in Roman Tennis?

Any student that may want to consider playing tennis for Roman in the spring should meet with the Coach in Room 61 after 8th period today. The meeting will be brief and please come if you're even considering it so that you can find out the details of the team. See Mr. Shanahan in the meantime with any questions.
