BELL RINGER: Students will describe the mechanical advantage of a lead screw
BEFORE: Teacher will go over the answers to the bell ringer to check for understanding.
DURING: Students will watch a short power point presentation on the rack and pinion.
AFTER: Students will work in groups to build the rack and pinion and work individually to build the lead screw without a guide.
ASSESSMENT: Building assemblies in groups and individually: lead screw and rack and pinion.
WED, FEB. 22ND
