Honors Anatomy and Physiology Science
Summer Assignment
Welcome to Anatomy and Physiology at WTHS. The summer assignment is to prepare for a quiz that will be administered on the Friday 9/9. This quiz will be on selected topics from Chapters 2 and 3 of the anatomy text book. These topics are the basics of biology and chemistry which most apply to Anatomy and Physiology. It will be required of you to rely on your past knowledge throughout the year. Anatomy and physiology is too rigorous and fast paced to redo previous materials.
We will have a question and answer session on Thursday 9/8. It is you job to come prepared to that session. That session is not a lecture, it is you asking and the class discussing any questions you might have. To be successful on the quiz, you should have already studied by Thursday 9/8. Below are instructions on how to access the textbook online.

If you click this link it will take you to another website dedicated to preparing students for the anatomy and physiology course. Use all the resources available in here to prepare.
3. After clicking on the study area button, a new screen will open. Towards the top there is a drop down menu that lets you select a specific chapter. After you select chapter 2 or 3, along the left side of the screen there are practice quizzes, test, puzzles and other study tools. You should also explore the area called AP Flix. The animations titled: Membrane Transport, Resting Membrane Potential and Generating an Action Potential apply to Chapters 2 and 3.
As a guideline of what topics to focus on, there are documents and worksheets posted on the summer assignment Schoolwire page.
