CONDITIONS OF HIRE

The contract of hire is between the Hirer and the Owner of the holiday property, for which the booking is made and is subject to the conditions and terms set out below, for which you agree to abide:

1.  The time of arrival is between 13:00 and 17:00hrs on the day commencing your stay. In order to commence with change-over, check-out time is by 10am on the day of your departure.

2.  The Hirer is responsible for the total stated price. To confirm your booking a 25% deposit is required and the remaining balance is due one month prior to arrival.

3.  Booking cancellations. The booking is made on the understanding that the property will be placed at the disposal of the Hirer on the chosen dates agreed. In the very rare event that this is not possible because of circumstances beyond the Owners control, then all payments will be refunded to the Hirer in full, but there can be no claim against the Owner. Please note deposits are provided on the understanding that they are non-refundable or transferable. If a cancellation is made by the Hirer after 28 days before their arrival date and full payment has already been received, then the balance (minus the deposit) may be refunded at the discretion of the Owner. If it is not possible to re-let the property again in time, then the money may remain with the Owner. Please note that we provide holiday cancellation insurance plans for you to take up if you wish from www.cancellationplan.co.uk

4.  The Hirer is required to report any loss or damage caused to the property or it’s contents during their occupancy. If any occurs, it is the Hirer’s responsibility to refund the costs prior to departure.

5.  Free Wi-Fi is provided to all our guests on the condition that this is just for personal and social use. No illegal downloading, torrenting or file sharing is permitted and if found you may face prosecution by the network provider or other authorities.

6.  No more than the maximum number of people as advertised may occupy the property.

7.  The Owner is not responsible for the death or any injury to the Hirer (or any other third parties), for loss to their belongings, vehicles, or any other personal possessions.

8.  For their own safety, The Hirer agrees to supervise their children around the farm.

9.  Well behaved dogs are welcome to stay (except in ‘The Old Farm House’ property which is totally pet-free); on the agreement and understanding that dogs are not left alone in the property for extended periods of time and for hygienic reasons they do not go on beds or furniture. The Hirer should bring their own dog bedding and feeding dishes etc. Lastly, dogs should be exercised under close control and on a lead when near farm livestock. There is an additional charge of £20.00 per week for dogs.

10.  The Hirer is responsible for the property and is expected to take good care of it. The property and its equipment should be left as found, in a clean and tidy condition.
