The Hero’s Journey – Original Storyboard Project

- Your assignment is to create an original “hero’s quest” story.
- You will present your narrative in the form of a storyboard.
- The storyboard is a visual representation of the key characters and events in your story.
- Each storyboard slide will present a key element of your story. Each slide should have an illustration or graphic.
- Under each image, you will include a brief, grammatically correctsummary/explanation of the slide (3-5 complete sentences).
- Presentation should be attractive, neat and well designed. You may present your storyboard on a poster, tri-fold, or in a PPT. Windows PowerPoint and Windows Moviemaker will work on the school computers. If you are using another type of storyboard software, check for compatibility before you do the project.
- If you are presenting digitally, you must save your presentation to a flashdrive. You must check with your teacher beforeyour presentation is due to be sure everything is in working order for your presentation and compatible with the school computer.
- If you have not checked with teacher before due date, technical glitches will not excuse late work.
- You will present your storyboard to the class in a 1-2 minute oral presentation.
- Your storyboard should have a title slide (your heading and the title of your narrative)
- Your storyboard must have the ten required slides. (plot chart)
- You may have five additional slides if needed.
- Storyboard project is a summative grade.

** If you need supplies or additional work time at school, you may work during tutoring.
Otherwise, you will complete the project at home.
