Here is a list of some activities ouryounger toddlers (12 to 16 months) are doing this month.

Math Senses: Exploring shapes, colors and textures using different materials (ex. construction

paper, felt, playdough) while learning about opposites (small, large, soft, hard).

Language, Art, & Social Skills: Group collages of familiar objects while learning to work

& play together.

Using our Fine Motor & Art Skills our older toddlers (17months and up) are working on a

We are spending more time outdoors and that is why we are doing many activities related

to BUGS! Yes, we will talk about them, sing about them, and have lots of fun learning about

them.

Combining Dramatic Play and Music and Movement, we are pretending to buzz like bees,

dance like butterflies, and march like the ants.

Some of the many books we are reading this month include “The Very Hungry Caterpillar”,

“The Very Busy Spider”,“My Mommy and Me” and “The Grouchy Ladybug”.
