Alabama Baptists have long surpassed thelevel of50%of all dollars going to SBC causes.

Last year Alabama Baptistssent 58% of total receipts (CP, Lottie Moon, Annie Armstrong, World Hunger and special offerings) to the SBC.

Alabama Baptist Churches givegenerously during difficult economic times.

Alabama Baptist churches gavethe largest percentage of total undesignated income of anyone in the SBC through the Cooperative Program.

Withmore than8,000 Southern Baptist missionaries around the world as well missions and ministries in Alabama, one gift goes around the world.

No other gift supports all the ministries of Alabama Baptists and Southern Baptists.

Alabama entities include: The Alabama Baptist, Alabama Baptist Children's Homes and Family Ministries, Alabama Baptist Retirement Centers, The Baptist Foundation of Alabama, Christian Higher Education Ministries, Christian Life Commission, Education Commission, Historical Commission, Judson College, Samford University, Shocco Springs, and the University of Mobile.You also support Alabama Woman's Missionary Union, and ALCAP.

Carrying out the Great Commission in a day of challenge

The Great Commission is why Alabama Baptists have worked together since1823. The Great Commission is why Alabama Baptists helped found the Southern Baptists 1845. The Great Commission is why Alabama Baptists were instrumental in starting the Cooperative Program 1n 1925. the Evangelism and discipleship in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and the world have always been the primary objectives. The methods have varied. The message has not.
