A) Rudolph BOLLINGER b. 29 Oct 1817 in PA d. 6 Feb 1899 in Richland Co. OH m. 1838 Catherine SHAFER moved to Richland County, Ohio. The 1850 census records gives the first 7 children's names. Also listed was Joh, b. 1834, a laborer. Rudolph at this time was a farmer with $1500 real estate. By 1860 he had $5500 real estate, $1200 personal property. His wife in 1860 is listed as Sarah J.(Zent), age 61 from Maryland, her parents also from Maryland. Daughters Sarah and Mary Ann were still in the household in 1870 census.
