UNC - Charlotte - Levine Scholars Program / The Levine Scholars Program is UNCCharlotte’s most prestigious merit scholarship program that was established in 2009 by benefactors Sandra and Leon Levine. The inaugural class of Levine Scholars entered in the fall semester of 2010 and a new cohort of approximately 15 students is selected to join the program each year. Emory Scholar / To be guaranteed consideration for the Emory University Scholars selection process (including Emory College, Oxford College, and the Goizueta Business School), students must submit all required application materials by the November 15 Emory University Scholars Programs deadline. Applicants will need to select one of Emory's three admission decision plans (Early Decision I, Early Decision II, or Regular Decision). Army ROTC Scholarship through UNG / Academics:
You mustmeet the academic requirements for admissionto the University of North Georgia.
Medical:
You must be medically, physically and psychologically qualified to become an Army lieutenant. You must also meet theArmy's physical standards.
General:
You must be a US citizen; age 17 or older before the end of your first semester at UNG; no moral obligation or personal conviction which would prevent you from bearing arms or defending the US; satisfactorily explain any record of arrest and/or civil conviction (very difficult to get a waiver); have a strong desire to serve as a Regular Army officer after graduating from college.
The DoDMERB physical exam is not required to apply for the scholarship. Physical exams will be scheduled after the award is made.

BBB Student of Integrity Scholarships / Our scholarship program is funded by our Educational Foundation and each year we give six $1,000 scholarships to high school seniors
2016 Student of Integrity Scholarship: Topic & Instructions
1. Students must write an essay, not to exceed 500 words, based on the following topic:Describe why you consider yourself passionate about building character and following ethical standards in your academic and personal life.
Students may write the essay in any form they wish. Judging will be based on how well students captured the essence of the topic and their creativity in responding.
Students must also submit the following:
2. A copy of the student’s transcript.
3. A one page letter that explains the student’s leadership skills and community activities or service. ***Please note, this should not be a resume or a letter of recommendation. This should be a letter written by the student expressing their thoughts on what it means to be a leader and how it feels giving back to their community.
It is your responsibility to address your entries correctly and have them postmarked by the deadline.
Please note the following instructions for submitting your entry:
Make three copies of all information, e.g. entry form, one page letter, transcript and essay. If your transcript is sealed, please unseal and make copies.
Place each entry in a pocket folder. A pocket folder is one in which there is a pocket on each side. We will not accept file folders, folders with prongs or manila envelopes. Place all three pocket folders in a large envelope.

Scholarship:

This is a one-time $1,000 scholarship.

Purpose:

To provide educational opportunities for worthy qualified students who might otherwise be denied the opportunity for a higher education.

Requirements:

  1. Open to all students who have been a Forsyth County resident for the past two (2) years,
    Member of the current graduating class intending to graduate from a Forsyth County High School, or equivalent,
  2. Attend an accredited college or university,
  3. Demonstrate that a financial need exists. Applicant must provide a copy of completed Financial Aid Form (FAFSA) or parent’s 2014-2015 Federal Income Tax return. **
  4. Scholastic ability – demonstrated by (a) grade point average and (b) scores from SAT, ACT or other recognized college testing program.
  5. Demonstrate leadership and good moral character,
  6. Letter of References – at least three (3), one of which must be from school or educator, Family references are not allowed.

Capstone Scholar has a 27 ACT or 1210–1240 SAT score (cr and math scores only) and at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA will receive $14,000 over four years ($3,500 per year).

Collegiate Scholar has a 28 ACT or 1250–1280 SAT score (cr and math scores only) and at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA will receive $16,000 over four years ($4,000 per year).

Foundation in Excellence Scholarship has a 29 ACT or 1290–1320 SAT score (cr and math scores only) and at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA will be selected as a receive the value of one-half tuition or $49,900 over four years ($12,475 per year).

UA Scholar has a 30–31 ACT or 1330–1390 SAT score (cr and math scores only) and at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA will receive the value of two-thirds tuition or $66,864 over four years ($16,716 per year).

Buick Achievers Scholarship Program / 50 Scholarships awarded up to $25,000 a year.
