Dear ACESEO Member,
You are in store for an exciting and rewarding time at the 39th annual meeting of the Alabama Cooperative Extension Service Employees Organization (ACESEO) in the Rocket City, Huntsville, Alabama. The theme of the conference is “ Blast Off With Health & Wealth”. Mark your calendar now for May 9-11, 2007, and make plans to participate in tours, attend the Awards Banquet, hear educational speakers, attend workshops, and enjoy camaraderie at its best.
A block of rooms is being held at the Holiday Inn Research Park in Huntsville, AL. Reservations should be made by April 8, 2007 to get the special rate. The conference rate is $82.00 plus lodging and sales tax. Reservations made after April 8th are subject to the hotel’s regular room rate. Early bird registration is $75.00. Pre-registration must be postmarked by April 14, 2007. Late registration will be $90.00 if postmarked after April 14, 2007.
As always, we solicit door prizes from each member and/or county. Please leave door prizes at the registration desk.
This year’s theme for the annual Thursday evening outing is “Apollo Night with ACESEO”. If you always wanted to appear on the Apollo, don’t miss your opportunity to shine. The categories include: singing, dancing, skit, stepping, drama, and others. You may participate in more than one category. If you are interested, please complete the bottom section on your registration form with your description of the act.
A registration form and tentative agenda are attached for you to make plans for networking, recognition, fellowship, and professional development.
