As part of your study of Keystone/Local History, you will create an “Alphabet Book” which explains some of the terms, people, events, places, and concepts associated with this era of local history. You are to use meaningful words or phrases taken from the materials used in class, assigned readings, class discussions, and your own research.

For each letter of the alphabet, you will need one entry. Each must be on a separate sheet of paper and utilize the front side only. Use plain white or colored paper (not lined notebook paper).

For each entry:

  • Include the letter of the alphabet and stack pages in alphabet order
  • Write at least 5 complete sentences that provide an explanation or definition of the entry’s significance to Bellefonte History. To go above any beyond, write a clear paragraph about each! Don’t be afraid to tell everything you know!
  • Include a visual (drawing, cartoon, diagram, map, etc.) to enhance entry
  • COVER PAGE:

Be sure to design an attractive cover, including the title of your book and your name. A picture on the front cover is needed as well.
