Purpose:

The ELT is to be a model of collaborative leadership who will analyze, debate, and decide on critical issues that fundamentally affect CSU. The ELT meetings will ensure all members of ELT are informed on pertinent issues. Each member of the ELT will be encourage to grow as a leader to better serve the university.

  1. Investiture Updates

All events for Investiture week are on scheduled as planned. Events begin on March 28, 2016 ending Saturday April 2, 2016.

  1. Academic Calendar Update

CSU to announce course taking flexibility for students to progress toward pursuing degree.

Follow-up: Provost Hackett and John McElveen to update ELT of progress.

  1. Enrollment Strategic Plan

Enrollment process outline plan was presented to the group along with a time line as a guide as a draft. Final draft to be distrusted by October 1st.

  1. New Structure Report

Discussion of developing a new enrollment reporting structure was presented to the group. This in an ongoing process.

Follow-up: Provost Hackett and John McElveen to update ELT monthly of progress.

  1. Transition Taskforce Update

Committee members met on March 11th. Recommendation were given to taskforce of space utilization of submitted request. No final decision on permanent move for individual department have been decided.

Follow-up: Decision to be communicated with campus closer to fall. Tom Hackett and Tom Helton update as needed on progress.

  1. Website Policy

A standard policy is being drafted for governance and outsourcing of the development of websites for units of Columbus State University.

Follow-up: Update on process to be presented to ELT members on April 19th Strategic Meeting.

  1. President Retreat

It was discussed that a CSU Leadership Retreat will be held on June 7, 2016 at the Cunningham Center. This is an all-day event.

June 23-24 will be a President Retreat for the Executive Leadership Team. Pending location.

  1. Internal Leadership Development Initiative

A report of all Focus Group session was presented to the ELT group. This report will also be presented at the April 22nd Leadership Forum Breakfast located at the Cunningham Center.
