“Famous Techie” Assignment (100 pts)
Objective: To research a famous/prominent “Techie” and create an informational presentation with the minimum following requirements. Get approval from me before starting this project.
Helpful website:
- First and Last Name of your “Techie.” (10 pts)
- Must include a picture of what the person looks like. (10 pts)
- Birth and Death date (some techies may still be alive) (10 points)
- The country where they were born and also the country where they did the majority of their work. (10 pts)
- What are they known for? Picture of what they invented. What was their major accomplishment(s)? The date they invented or discovered accomplishment. Be creative! (20 pts)
- One paragraph summarizing their works in the business/technology field. Information should be in your own words. (20 pts)
- Present to the class in a PowerPoint format. Use color, animations, and graphics for an appealing presentation. Be creative. You may add other interesting information about your “Techie”. (20 pts)
