WBFI Quality Standards Program Information Page

Rev. December 2005, Replaces November 2005

The WBFI Board of Directors is pleased to announce the activation of the WBFI Quality Standards Program. As of November 2005, these standards include seed definitions, quality standards for seed, and quality standards for feeders.

Why is this important to you? We all share the common goal of ensuring that the consumer has a positive experience while feeding wild birds. By defining quality standards, we are enabling the manufacturers to make it easy for the consumer to recognize which wild bird foods and feeders meet a certain level of quality. When consumers are rewarded with a favorable experience, they make repeat purchases, sales increase, and the entire category grows.

Once your company enrolls in the WBFI Quality Standards Program, you are entitled to use the new WBFI Quality Standards Logo on all your products that meet the requirements as defined below.

Please join us by completing the WBFI quality Standards enrollment form and submitting it to WBFI headquarters with your check for $100 for your 2006 enrollment.
