PERSONAL INFO AND SKILLS
I am a very hard worker, and am relied on constantly to work both alone and in small teams, bearing the responsibility of the success or failure of the project. My organisational skills are meticulous. Managing teams across several different time zones and even sometimes language barriers has been a challenge I have overcome.
Working from home almost entirely unsupervised has meant that my time keeping skills and self motivation are required to be second to none. I am an expert in development of all things Flash and Adobe AIR related, and have experience in various other technologies, and usually work in an Object Oriented fashion with experience with MVC methodology in development, as well as the ability to rapidly prototype. I'm also eager and quick to learn anything thrown at me.
I was born and raised in Manchester and currently live in Faringdon, Oxfordshire, with my wife and daughter. Hobbies outside of making games include finding time to actually play them, and painting with my family.

EMPLOYMENT HISTORY
Independent Flash Game developer, September 2014 – present.
Since leaving Rebellion Developments, I have worked freelance on a number of personal and contract positions. These include: A 3D tour of the solar system for a Saudi Museum exhibit for the Away Foundation. A game requested by Armor Games for both web and mobile, a currently unreleased project for Kongregate.com, and several mobile games self developed and published personally.
Game Developer, Rebellion Developments, February 2013 – September 2014
Along with another programmer and team of artists and designers, I worked on Evil Genius Online, a large scale 3D Free2Play Facebook and Mobile game. Roles included UI programming, a cutscene system for the 3D Engine, and communication between the client code and server side code with the Facebook platform API in order to improve monetisation and handle in app purchases.
Game developer, Armor Games Inc., October 2007 – February 2013
I was responsible for the development of dozens of successful web games, for each project I was responsible for the concept, design, programming and testing of the final product. I have also worked alongside Fishing Cactus Ltd in porting the most successful of my games to iOS, Android, Nintendo 3DS and Playstation 3.
One of my most popular games, Shift, reached No. 4 in the Paid Apps section of the iOS app store, and was downloaded and played over 2 million times as of Early 2011. It was a straight port of my original Flash game, with 25 additional levels that I helped design and implement.
The sequel (Shift 2) was also ported to iOS and met with great success. Shift has also been featured on PS3, Android and Nintendo 3DS.
Independent Flash Game developer, 2005-2007
While working independently, I placed first in the Armor music game competition, and second in the annual Armor games competition. These were the two largest Flash game development competitions of the time, my success leading to being offered the Armor position.
