This Open Show is to be cage judging, rings with Club Handlers (except possible UTH).

This show is held under the rules of the New Zealand Cat Fancy Inc and Burmese Cat Club of New Zealand Inc. All exhibitors are deemed to have agreed to abide by such rules. A copy of the NZCF Inc Show Rules and bylaws is available to be downloaded from the NZCF website

ENTRY FEES FOR REGISTERED, COMPANION AND DOMESTIC CATS:

All Rings: First and Second Exhibits $12 per ring and any subsequent Exhibits $10.00 per ring.

NZCF INC Benching Fee: First exhibit only in all categories $5.00 PER RING

Lucky cage: $1.00per ring(50% profit to Southern Region Welfare)

Catalogue: $6.00 each(Please pre-pay as numbers are limited)

PLEASE NOTE: Benching Fees are payable on the first exhibit only. One benching fee per owner.

Student judges, handlers, and stewards may be on the floor doing practical assignments so if you do not wish to have your cats/kittens included in hands-on assignments then please notify the entry clerk on your entry form.

Payments:

All fees must accompany entries. Entries without payment will not be accepted. If paying by internet banking your name MUST be used as the reference and you MUST clearly state when e-mailing entries that an internet payment has been made and if possible e-mail a copy of the receipt.

(The above supreme awards will be calculated on the points an exhibit has earned at this show as per the NZCF points system)

Overall Supreme Exhibit

An appointed Judging Panel will select the Winner of the Overall Supreme Award from the Winners of the four Supreme Classes above (the Judging Panel’s decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered in to)

Helpers for Set Up and Dismantling the Show

The Show will be set up on Friday 20th of May. Please indicate you can help, by writing this on your entry form or phone Gordon McIvor on 03 327 3331.

Please be aware there will be NO ENTRY to Exhibitors just coming to the venue to set up their show cages on Friday 20th of May. This is an extremely busy time for the Show Committee, people NOT ASSISTINGwith set up of the show, will not be afforded the privilege of being allowed to set up their ShowCages early. Those assisting are most welcome to set up their Exhibits cages after the Show set up has been completed.

All help gratefully accepted with dismantling the show on Saturday 21st of May.

Stewards, Scribes and Handlers:

Please indicate on your entry forms if you are able to help in any way .Handlers will remain in the same ring for the entire show, Stewards will move with their Judge.

There will be a workers raffle drawn at the end of the show, please think about helping in some way some jobs don’t require a lot of either time or effort and the help is greatly appreciated.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE DAY OF THE SHOW

Free entry to the show is only for the person(s) shown on the Entry Form as the Owner(s) of the Exhibit entered.

All Exhibits:

Must have clean ears, clipped claws and coats free from ringworm, fleas, flea dirt etc.

All Kittens:

The age restriction for showing kittens is 4 calendar months – these kittens must hold a current vaccination certificate with the most recent vaccination being dated at least 7 days prior to the show.

Vetting:As per NZCF Show By-Laws for Exhibition.

At least one qualified Veterinary Surgeon will be in attendance to examine each exhibit. All exhibits entering the hall will be vetted, and once in the hall may not be removed without the permission of the Show Manager. If in his opinion, any exhibit is not fit to remain at the show, the exhibit/s shall be removed from competition and removed from the hall immediately. Other exhibits and the exhibitors may be barred as the Veterinary Surgeon sees fit. The examining Veterinary Surgeon’s decision shall be final.

Exhibits:

Exhibits should brought to the Show in a cage and NOT in a blanket or on a lead.

Exhibits are received at the Show only on condition that the Club should not be responsible for any loss or damage to exhibits, boxes, baskets, etc.

Exhibitsare not to be removed before the show closes without the consent of the Show Manager. Exhibitors in breach of this rule will forfeit their awards.

Feeding:

Feeding your exhibit is not permitted during Judging.

Cages and Litter:

Cages and litter will be supplied by the Club. Other litter will not be permitted.

Bedding

Bedding must be provided for each exhibit. Coloured bedding and or curtains may be used. Please bring aWhite towel for the top of your cage.

Tally Check:

Exhibitors envelopes to be obtained from the Tally Checker before the exhibits are benched (caged) and after kittens Vaccination Certificates are produced.

Behaviour:

BCCNZ Southern Region reserves the right to refuse entries and to remove persons behaving in an unseemly manner on the show premises. Caregivers are responsible for the children in their care.

Withdrawal of Entries:

Exhibitors wishing to withdraw an entry shall confirm the same in writing to the Show Secretary. Withdrawals after the closing date for entries (for reasons other than as stated in the NZCF IncShow By Laws) will forfeit 50% of their Entry Fee.

Entry Fees will be refunded (less 25% for book work) where a Veterinary Surgeon’s certificate is in the Show Secretary’s hands by 5.00pm Friday 20th of May 2016
