PUBLIC COMMENT POLICY-It is the policy of the Naches Town Council to accept public comment on agenda items at the time the item is being discussed during the study session. Public comments regarding items not on the agenda will be heard at the end of the meeting. During the Regular Council Meeting Public Comments will be accepted at the end of the meeting.

a)  Mr. Larry Dekker and Greta Alderson would like to ask Council’s permission to have overnight camping at Applewood Park for the Annual YMCA Invitational Swim Meet on June 26-28, 2009.

All matters listed within the consent agenda have been distributed to each member of the Naches Town Council for reading and study, are considered to be routine, and will be enacted by one motion of the Council with no separate discussion. If separate discussion is desired, that item may be removed from the consent agenda and placed on the regular agenda by motion of the Council.

a)  Approve minutes of 3/9/09 Study Session.

b)  Approve minutes of 3/09/09 Regular Council Meeting.

c)  Approve those Claim Warrants/Checks dated through April 13, 2009 in the amount of $25,107.24. Warrant #’s 11811-11816

d)  Approve those payroll Warrants dated through March 31, 2009 in the amount of $27,169.93. Warrant #’s 4364-4385.

b)  Execute Project Prospectus for 2nd and 3rd Streets Resurfacing Project.

c)  Execute Local Agency Agreement for 2nd and 3rd Streets Resurfacing Project.

d)  Execute Consultant Agreement for Preliminary Engineering Services for 2nd and 3rd Streets Resurfacing Project.

e)  Elect Mayor Pro-Tem for the next 6 mos.

11) RESOLUTIONS AND ORDINANCES

a)  Proposed Resolution 2009-02 Amending the 6 Yr. TIP

b)  Proposed Resolution 2009-03 Authorizing the Mayor to Sign the Local Agency Agreement, Local Agency Federal Aid Project Prospectus and the Local Agency Standard Consultant Agreement for the 2nd and 3rd Street Resurfacing Project.

12) AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION

Limit of approximately 3 minutes per person from the public with a limit of 20 minutes total. All New Business will be taken under advisement and any further action will be handled at the next meeting.
