Dear Scouts and Families,

December 3rd and 4th are the scheduled dates of our Annual Christmas Wreath Sale at the Church. Since this is a fundraising event, we ask that all families donate their time in sales, both pre-sale and church sale.

Attached you will find the pre-sale order form. The cost of each wreath is $17.00. Full payment is due at the time the order is placed and all money and order forms are due back by November 15th. Please place these items in a sealed envelope with your name on it and bring to the troop meeting. Everyone is required to participate and sell at least 5 wreaths. Remember, you only get credit for the wreaths you pre-sell, so start early.

On December 3rd, all scouts and families should plan to be at the hall by 12:30 to decorate your pre-ordered wreaths and the wreaths to be sold at the church. This is also the time to pick up the wreaths that were pre-ordered. If for some reason you cannot be there to help, you must make arrangements with someone to decorate and pick up your pre-orders.

On December 3rd and 4th we will be selling the wreaths after all masses. Each Scout and a parent are required to help sell at a minimum of one mass. A sign up sheet will be available at the November 15th meeting. The final schedule will be posted at the meeting prior to the sale.

Please keep in mind that all monies raised by fundraising goes directly back to the troop and benefits our scouts by providing them with camping equipment, paying for the campouts, cutting down the cost of the end of the year “big trip”, etc., so everyone is encouraged to participate and give your best effort.

To make the day more festive, we are asking each family to bring cupcakes, cookies, candy, etc., to enjoy while decorating. The troop will provide hot chocolate, coffee, tea and holiday music.

Please mark your calendars now. We need everyone to show up and assist with the decorating and sales.
