Wakefield & Tetley Trust

Fast-Track Grant Guidelines and Application 2015

What the Trust supports:

The Trust will only support projects that: Make a positive difference to the lives of people who face significant disadvantage and have limited choices and opportunities, for example because they have difficulty accessing resources or face discrimination. Our area of benefit is Tower Hamlets, Southwark and the City of London.

The Trust will also prioritise projects and activities:

·  That are clearly targeted and can provide evidence of the disadvantage faced by their clients;

·  That will reduce barriers and encourage social inclusion;

·  That have a clear plan and demonstrate the difference that will be made.

How the Trust can support you:

The Fast Track Grant programme offers grants of between £100 - £2,500 to groups with an annual income of less that £250,000.

Trustees will consider requests for small or time limited activities, pilot projects, emergency/stop-gap funding and training for staff and/or trustees. For example, you may have an opportunity to deliver a short piece of work or extend a project, you may want to test out an idea by running a pilot, or there may be times when something unexpected happens or funding is delayed. The Trust is happy to support project costs and relevant core costs however we will not support capital costs.

Applications can be made at any time and you should expect a decision within 6 weeks.
