Health Tech Event, 2nd edition, 28 January 2014

High Tech Campus Eindhoven, The Netherlands

Technology rapidly emerging in healthcare

Innovation, inspiration and creation in the operating room

Eindhoven, January 14 - Google Glass in the operating room, robotic telemedicine, nanotube sensors; the health care industry is rising in a high-speed tempo. How can technology benefit healthcare? What is the current status? And what developments can we expect in the near future? Health Tech Event 2014 is set-up around these questions. It offers an open atmosphere for both health and tech professionals to meet, learn and explore the crossroads of Science, Technology & Business in Med-Tech and Sensors.
The program includes keynotes of among others Lucien Engelen (on the first experiences at Radboud University with Google Glass) and Richard Kemkers (on the innovation opportunities Philips Research identifies in future patient care). Next to keynotes and a range of breakout presentations, Health Tech Event 2014 features an exhibition area and Start-up Plaza. Among the exhibitors are the Centre of Translational Molecular Medicine (CTMM) and Proxible (aiming to transfer hospitals into smart environments).
Anyone curious in where technology will take us in healthcare and wants to increase its network in this field, is invited to join the cutting edge program. The 2nd edition of the Health Tech Event will take place on January 28 at the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven.
