Requirements

·  Matric and a tertiary qualification

·  Minimum three years relevant administrative work experience

·  High degree of proficiency in MS Office suite programs is essential

·  Excellent numeracy and literacy skills

·  Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team

·  Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and in writing)

·  High level of organisational skills

·  Ability to problem solve and multitask

·  Ability to maintain confidentiality

Advantages include

·  Minimum two years administrative experience in higher education environment

·  Competent in Student Administrative systems, such as PeopleSoft and Vula (i.e. intranet).

Responsibilities:

·  Administration of all undergraduate activities

·  Administration of all assessment and examination processes relating to academic and clinical courses, including marks processing

·  Manage time tables and booking of venues for all undergraduate activities

·  Provide administrative support for teaching and learning to students and staff

·  Liaison with students, staff, external and internal examiners, colleagues in other departments, in the faculty and university.

The annual cost of employment, including benefits is between R203 905 and R239 896.
